Unable To Select Pay Category On Clock-In

If an employee works multiple positions and therefore has multiple pay categories applied to them - normally they are able to select pay category upon clocking in.

Alert
If a location is using OneMetrix scheduling, however, this can disallow the employee from choosing pay category as the system will automatically clock the employee in as the pay category they are set to on the OneMetrix schedule.

Idea
To nullify this, you must edit the pay categories through Manager Console.

Preliminary - Verify Employee Pay Category

- In Manager Console, navigate to Employees > Modify Employees 

- Select the employee, then select Edit

- In the Pay Rates tab, any pay category that has a rate entered is a pay category the employee should be able to clock into as.


Edit Pay Category

- In Manager Console, navigate to Employees > Pay Categories
 

- Select the pay category that will be effected (blue means selected) and select Edit


- Check the box for Ignore Scheduled Pay Category

- Do this for all the pay categories the employee has applied to them to allow them to select between them on clock-in.
