Taking a Single Payment

NOTE

Swiping a credit card any time without first touching “close check” and then touching the type of payment or “select guest” will process the payment for the amount shown at the bottom left corner.

NOTE

If a guest (or combination of guests paying together) is paying with multiple tenders, touch “close check”, then touch “select guest” in the bottom right corner. Select the guest (or combination of guests paying together) and proceed.

  1. To process a credit card payment for the total amount due, simply swipe the credit card. There is no need to touch “close check” and touch the type of card – just swipe!
  2. Touch the fast cashout button at the bottom left that matches the amount of cash you received. If the amount you received doesn’t match any of the fast cashout buttons, touch “cash” and type in the amount of cash you received, then press “done”.
  3. If you have multiple guests on your check, touch “close check” and then touch “select guest” in the bottom right corner. Touch the guest or guests you want to take payment for, then press “done”. The total amount due for the specific guest(s) selected is now shown and you can proceed to take their payment as described in step 1 or 2, depending on how they are paying.
