Redirect Printers (Control Printers Menu)
If you need to set your system so that tickets that would normally go to one location need to go to another, this can easily be accomplished through the Control Printers menu.
This menu option is only accessible through the terminal Manager Menu, so you will need a manager number / manager access.
Printer Redirect
1. Enter Manager Number
2. Select 'Control Printers'
3. From the Control Printers menu, select the printer you want to reroute. For this example, we're rerouting Term 01-Lo to Bar Printer.
4. Once
you've selected printer, the next menu screen will
have you select the printer that it will be rerouted to.
5. It will then ask you to confirm reroute. Hit the green OK button to confirm.
6. After
you make this selection you'll see back in the control printers menu
that the color of the box around the terminal you just re-directed will have changed and it will show you where the redirect is occuring.
Un-Do Redirect
- To un-do the reroute, select the rerouted printer from the control printers menu and select Normal Operation, then OK to confirm.
