Re-Opening Checks

Re-Opening Checks

Re-Opening Checks

There are two unique ways of re-opening a check in onePOS. Both ways are described below:

Re-Opening Through Server Menu

  1. Log in as a server
  2. Select ‘Server Menu’
  3. Select ‘Re-open Check’ or ‘Last’ if it was the last check that you opened.
  4. You will see a list of closed checks with an arrow beside each check.
  5. Select the check you want to open.

Re-Opening Through Manager Menu

  1. Slide manager card or enter manager’s number
  2. Select “Reopen Check’ on the Manager Menu
  3. You will see a list of closed checks with an arrow beside each check.
  4. Select the check you want to open.

The second option(Re-Opening Through Manager Menu) is NOT recommended as the table might become associated with the manager re-opening the check, instead of the server who originally opened the check. You may also watch the video below for more assistance.
