Online Ordering Price Setup

This article will explain how to set up the price for a merchandise item that will apply only for online ordering websites / Chowly integrations.

If a customer wants to have it so that the entire menu is marked up by a percentage, there is a separate process wherein Chowly needs to be contacted to turn the percentage on.

If they want to set specific prices for individual items, then continue forward with these instructions.

1. Create A New Price Level

- In Manager Console, navigate to Merchandise > Modify Merchandise.



On the list of screengroups on the left side, scroll down until you see the EXT screengroups. These EXT Screengroups are what show up on online ordering websites.

- Then select an item from your screen group and select Edit


 

- Under the Pricing tab, input a price into the price level 10 text box.

 


Do not check the box for price #10 here, it is not neccesary. If you check this box the price level will not apply correctly.


2. Applying Price to Online Only

- While we are still editing this item, select the Screens tab and select Advncd in the same row that the EXT item is in.

 


- Ensure that the allow price #10  is checked, and ensure that the Default Pricing  is set for "Price: 10"

 


- Click "OK" twice and then "Done"

 

Step 3: Syncing to Chowly

- Still in the Manager Console, Select Merchandise > Sync with Chowly 



- Click on the menu option, and it will initiate the sync. Then a pop-up window will show indicating the sync is complete


Now your pricing should be reflected on your 3rd party online ordering services like Uber Eats, DoorDash, Etc.
