Manager Console Overview

Manager Console, also referred to as Back-of-House, is an application that allows the user to control and monitor the the POS system. This application is included in the onePOS software package and is essential for any business to operate the onePOS software.



Manager Console has a slew of information on the home page as well as a toolbar at the top to navigate to different menus that will allow you to configure or monitor your business. Whenever accessing one of these tools, you will be prompted to login using the nickname and password created for you. (See Adding Employees for more information) If you don't have a nickname or password, please reach out to your supervisor, or if you are the business owner, please reach out to onePOS Support to get a profile made for you. 

 

Toolbar Menus

  1. POSIncludes tools to monitor the usage of onePOS and transactions and allows you to access End of Day functions.
  1. EmployeesIncludes tools to manage employees and Labor data
  1. Merchandise - Contains a range of functions to control how items are sold, organized, displayed, and printed
  1. Customers - Allows you to add and modify customers as well as manage rules for organizing or streamlining saved customer information
  1. Setup - Used to configure the individual aspects of how onePOS operates your business including managing your business type and setup, system operations management, sales management, payment methods, and reductions
  1. Utilities - Some quick tools to help manage your database or system, including resending past reports, controlling your files, device management, and customer management
  1. Reports - All reporting that can be generated, saved, and emailed in document or spreadsheet format for monitoring all facets of your business and POS system
  1. Help - General information about your software license
