Info
Size clarifications - Many bars have multiple sized liquor pours (1oz, 2oz, 3oz) and for this reason we have those sizes predefined and demonstrated in the demo onePOS database. Not all bars use all of the sizes, but for clarifications sake:
The parent item represents a "Single" pour. The following example uses "Bacardi, Captain Morgan, Cruzan..." These will not be a size level, but rather reference their child sizes.
Rx = "Rocks" pour. In this example, size level 1 uses the "Rx" prepend. Bars will often use this for a slightly bigger pour of liquor that does not come with a mixer but will need to cost more to cover the cost of more liquor, a big ice cube, bitters... "I'll have a whiskey on the rocks."
Mrt = "Martini" pour. Like rocks, a martini pour is typically more than a single but could be less or more than a double, depending on the bar.
Dbl = "Double" pour. It's important to remember that while these sizes are common in the industry, they are used to fit the bar's operations. While it may actually be twice as much liquor as a single, this isn't always the case.

Prepends can be used as sizes. It is an action, you select the priced size you attached to the item you want to ring up.

For example: When building a alcohol menu you will need to add your items as Rx, Mrt, Dbl. These will have "prepend" check marked in the general tab when editing.
In this case, Double is the largest of three sizes, so it would be set as size level 3. Rx and Mrt are set as levels 1 & 2.

Once the prepends are created and you have merchandise within that screen group, you can click on add sizes.
This will allow the main item to be attached to the Prepend button so that the drink is charged accordingly.

The screenshot below shows how the size level needs to be attached to the item that is the prepend.
