How To Configure Contests

Here are a few easy steps for configuring Contests in the onePOS system. 

Contest are configured in the onePOS Management Console.
Navigate to Merchandise > Contests


Here you can edit an existing contest or add a new one.


  1. Set the Name of the Contest 
  2. Select the Contest Type 
  3. Click "Add" to add items to be included in the Contest
See screenshot below


If you would like to add All items from a Category.
  1. Set the grouping at the top to Categories 
  2.  Pick the category from the list 
  3. Click the "All" button to add every item listed at the point value in the "Points" box 
In the example below, All N/A Drinks will be added with a 1-point value.  


The example below is a contest for tracking Non-Alcohol Drinks sold. 


Once the contest is configured, you can pull reports to see how the team performs.

To pull reports on contests on the Management Console:

Navigate to Reports > Contest Reports 


Select the date for the start and end of the report and the contest. 


In the example report below, Stacy has sold QTY of 38 N/A Beverages for 38 points, generating total sales of $104.50
