How To Configure Contests
Here are a few easy steps for configuring Contests in the onePOS system.
Contest are configured in the onePOS Management Console.
Navigate to Merchandise > Contests
Here you can edit an existing contest or add a new one.
- Set the Name of the Contest
- Select the Contest Type
- Click "Add" to add items to be included in the Contest
See screenshot below
If you would like to add All items from a Category.
- Set the grouping at the top to Categories
- Pick the category from the list
- Click the "All" button to add every item listed at the point value in the "Points" box
In the example below, All N/A Drinks will be added with a 1-point value.
The example below is a contest for tracking Non-Alcohol Drinks sold.
Once the contest is configured, you can pull reports to see how the team performs.
To pull reports on contests on the Management Console:
Navigate to Reports > Contest Reports
Select the date for the start and end of the report and the contest.
In the example report below, Stacy has sold QTY of 38 N/A Beverages for 38 points, generating total sales of $104.50.
