Sometimes, even if EOD is ran and fully completed, reports may not be e-mailed due to internet connection or other such issues. Currently, there is no known exact cause as to why this occurs.
If, after running an End Of Day, you do not see reports that were
previously set up to be printed or emailed, there is a simple
resolution.
Verify Journal
- Before you begin, you can verify if a date has sales data and had EOD ran correctly by checking either the journals folder in C:\OnePOS\JOURNALS and sorting by date modified.
- OR you can go to manager console Reports > Sales Reports > Daily Sales Report for the selected date and see if the report has data.
Blank report = EOD not ran , no reports can be printed / emailed.
- You can also check Reports > Legacy Electronic Payment Reports > Ideal Payments Report
- Within this report, you can check the Date / Time column to ensure the sales listed are for the correct day. If there are multiple days on one report, it could mean journals have combined and need to be split.
Verify EOD Setup
- Firstly, you can verify the reports that are supposed to be sent and the emails they are supposed to be sent to via manager console Setup > System Preferences > EOD Setup
- In the Emails tab , you can see the list of emails that reports are sent to.
- In the Reports tab, you can see the list of reports that are meant to be emailed
Re-Send or Re-Print Reports
Be advised that this will send the reports for the actual day before the current day, it is not based off the most recent EOD but the previous day.
- Be sure the terminal or manager PC you are using has a secure and stable internet connection.
- Once you have verified the info from the previous steps, go to Utilities > Re- E-Mail Yesterdays EOD Reports or Utilities > Re-Print Yesterdays EOD Reports
- You will see a green loading bar appear. When this dissapears it means the reports have been sent / printed.
OR
- Navigate to Manager Console to
Reports tab and select the report you want (reports we found from the prev step)
- Select date range and other parameters, then click preview
- In new window that appears, select the Print, Email, or Save option
- You already have the list of emails from a previous step.
- Save option saves a copy of the report PDF to the local system drive.
