Customer Facing Payment Screen Not Displaying Correctly
If a customer facing display is either showing the incorrect screen (i.e - customer facing screen showing cashier screen instead or vice versa), or if one of the displays is not functioning, here are some troubleshooting steps that can be taken.
Verify Hardware Device Settings in Manager Console
- In Manager Console, go to Setup>Hardware Devices.
- Select the profile for the terminal you wish to enable customer facing payments on.
- Then go to the "Table Access" tab and make sure "Customer Facing" is selected.
Verify Windows Display Settings
- Open windows settings by searching for 'display settings.' It can also be found in windows settings > system > display settings
- Under 'multiple displays' be sure that it is set to "extend" and not "duplicate"
This will ensure the customer facing display stays on the customer facing screen, and the cashier facing display stays on the cashier screen
- Relaunch terminal
If a display is not detected , first try rebooting system. Then try reseating or replacing display cables.
