If a dining area is displaying as "blank" or tables are not showing up, you'll want to verify that the dining area is not setup with the checkbox "Display As List" in dining area settings.
- You can locate this in the Manager Console Setup > Revenue Source Setup > Dining Area , then selecting a dining area and selecting Edit.
- You will then see a section of check boxes in the upper right of the General tab, with the first one in the list being Display As List
Checking this box turns a dining area into a list of orders with multiple details instead of a dining area where these additional details are only accessible by selecting an individual table
You can even remove the background image to make the grid easier to see.
- First, determine the dining area ID in Manager Console Setup > Revenue Source Setup > Dining Area , then selecting a dining area and selecting Edit.
- Make note of the ID
- Go to the windows file browser in C:\onePOS\IMAGES\Dining and change the filename of the picture with the corresponding number
- Ex: Dining area is 9, you'd change filename of Dining9 by just adding a dash so it invalidates it from the system without deleting it.
The dining area will now look like this with a more pronounced grid:
To revert changes, just uncheck the box from the beginning to have the dining area again display tables.
