Accepting Gift Certs in POS

If a guest would like to pay for an order using a Gift Certificate, when you go to close the check, select Gift Cert. A message will appear asking for the gift certificate number. This is usually something that the store decides on. Enter the payment amount. **Some stores require their guests to use the total amount of their gift cert, OR they can use it multiple times, for different orders and track the balance by writing it on the gift certificate** ​
